Magic has wrapped up ValdeSerra School for several days and we have become magicians, as well as scientists looking for explanations to the magic tricks by means of Science.
We have used potions which are just chemical formulae and physical principles as magical words.
With the slogan “IT IS NOT MAGIC, IT IS SCIENCE”, we have created a magic atmosphere where several activities have been developed to know more about living beings: a visit to a vegetables production plant, lectures about bioethics and cardiovascular resuscitation, photographic competition with scientific topic, laboratory practices, projections in primary based on living beings (produced by students of 1st level of Secondary)…
As a final epilogue of the Week of Sciences we celebrated a Gymkhana with different tests, where our greatest discovery was that unity and fellowship make everything possible.
We take this opportunity to thank parents and students for their collaboration, enabling several activities and for the daily work, which continues scientific progress without which we should live like in medieval times.
