Once we reached the last day of the 2nd term it was time to celebrate Valdeserra´s 5th Olympic Games, a day when the doors are open, when the college students, from the youngest children in infants to our oldest in 6th form, as well as their teachers, enjoyed a day dedicated to sport and the healthy habits which it encourages.

The initial activity of this day was the splendid and emotional marching in formation in which both teachers and students participated.

All of this, accompanied by our hymn, helped to reinforce the values taught in the college, for example hope, effort, as well as the Olympic and peaceful spirit.

Afterwards, a number of well known sports were played by all such as: athletics, basketball, hockey, chess, table tennis, badminton, football, etc.

It was an unforgettable day during which we enjoyed an admirable community spirit amongst students, parents and teachers, in which the results weren´t the most important thing, but instead, the awakening of the curiosity towards practicing sports and healthy habits.

Before the Closing Ceremony where we awarded medals and trophies to all the participants, we enjoyed diverse matches between the families, teachers and students and we run our first popular race.

During the day we showed good sportsmanship in a great environment which reigned throughout the games.
