The 6th of April 1896 was the day in which the city of Athens held the inaugural modern Olympic games.

More than 120 years later students, parents and teachers of Valdeserra School enjoy a sports day in which the main objective is to have fun while we play sports in a fun and familiar environment.

That is why we wanted to pay tribute to the values that the Olympic spirit transmits in all its disciplines: basketball, athletics, contact sports, etc.

Once we have completed the parade and read the inaugural speech by the students, we will start the different sport disciplines, not without first enjoying the popular Valdeserra race with the novelty this year of a “Trail”.

We will conclude the day with the traditional teachers’ football match against the winning students, but the real prize has been to enjoy encouraging teamwork.
