Students from 5th and 6th of Primary visited the monumental complex of the “Alcazaba” in Almeria, enjoying the natural and cultural environment that surrounds it.

We walked through the different enclosures that make up this wonderful fortress and the Almanzor Street led us to the Gate of Justice (after going up the beautiful stairs). The paved floor and the small canals, which run through the unevenness of the terrain with the passing of the water, made the walk through this place very pleasant.

We also visited the Caliph’s Wells, a Muslim House and a “mudéjar Hermitage“ built by the Catholic monarchs. In summary, a day of historical learning in the biggest of the citadels built by the Arabs in Spain.
