The subjects included in the Department of Sciences are: Mathematics, Science, Natural Science, Technology, Biology and Geology, Physics & Chemistry, Economy, Modern World Science and ICT, Environment Knowledge (1, 2, 3, 4).

Our programmed syllabus will help our pupils to reach the general objectives designed for each one of the different stages taught at our school.

ValdeSerra intends that all children with the help of Science, should be able to develop the basic skills in order to use sources of information for learning with a critical view and achieve a good sound preparation in the Technological field, specially IT and communication.

We intend students to understand scientific knowledge as an integrated one in the different disciplines, as well as to know and apply the right methods for identifying problems in the different fields of knowledge.

With the Science subjects we hope to improve the analytical thinking of our pupils to then bring it into the language as ways of expressing themselves not only in the mathematical or scientific fields but also in everyday life.

Science laboratories are put into practice the knowledge acquire in the subjects. This way they have a closer view of scientific world. Practicals are as follows:
