Students doing 1st and 2nd levels of High School set their course towards Prague and Vienna on Sunday 26th January, to enjoy one week study tour.
The Czech capital welcomed us with a heavy snowfall, making the Carlos Bridge and the Old Square look like a Christmas stamp.
We get impressed with the black theatre, due to the effects of light and shade, and we will not forget the Jewish district with its breathtaking cemetery.
On Thursday 30th we headed towards Vienna, Austria’s capital.
We will keep forever in our memory the walks along the Rhine, where we found the most emblematic and majestic buildings of the city: Parliament, University, Hofburg Palace, Art and Natural History Museum and the Town Hall with a skating rink, where we could not afford to miss the opportunity to ice skating and share a laugh.
We visited Schönbrunn Palace where Empress Sisi and Hapsburgs dynasty left their mark.
We could not say goodbye to Vienna without soaking up its high artistic content, being the reason for students’ attendance to an opera and ballet concert.
We were only a few hours flight from School, and although more tired, our luggage came full of happy memories and experiences.
