The Area Manager from Andalusian Radio and TV in Almería province, Antonio Torres, has participated in the Press Workshop of ValdeSerra School. He brought his experience, gained along the years of journalistic career, to our classrooms. Students from Secondary 4th and High School 1st and 2nd had the chance to cover the route from the beginning of written press in Almería to today’s activity, where media has been obliged to renew by means of new technologies.

The survival keys for journalism and journalists are the ability to adapt and be innovative according to Torres.

In addition to his present job taking care of Canal Sur in Almería, Antonio Torres has worked for the main national and provincial media, he is a Doctor of Journalism from the Complutense University of Madrid, and he is a specialist in immigration subjects and in handling tragedies through media.
